Carbon Literacy Action Day

This was our second year taking part, where we trained an additional 16 people from external businesses, our clients and our parent company, IAA inc.

As a result of our involvement, we were awarded one of only three Carbon Literacy Action Day Catalyst Awards.

Spreading the Carbon Literacy message

As a silver accredited Carbon Literacy business, its our role to continue to train our colleagues and guide them to become more sustainable focussed at home and in the workplace.

In total, we have trained 272 colleagues in the UK which equates to 26 percent of our workforce.

Sustainability strategy for 2023

We understand that the world of sustainability is continuously evolving, and to ensure we’re still doing the right things for the right reasons, we’ve reviewed our sustainability strategy for next year.

We have set out a new sustainability strategy for 2023 and we look forward to sharing this with you in the New Year.

Continuing our Carbon reduction

We have already worked hard to reduce our carbon emissions and because we are now operating as one UK business, we can add in the savings achieved in 2021 from the IAA sites which are now part of the SYNETIQ business. We will shortly be calculating our emissions inventory for 2022.

Science-based targets update

We’re pleased to say we’ve completed our Science-Based Targets documentation for submission and we hope to get our targets validated by SBTi in early 2023.
