SYNETIQ, an IAA company, one of the UK’s leading integrated vehicle recycling companies, proudly announces ANDYSMANCLUB as its chosen Charity of the Year.
The announcement comes during Stress Awareness Month, highlighting SYNETIQ’s commitment to supporting mental health among its colleagues.
ANDYSMANCLUB offers a vital space for discussing mental health openly, aligning perfectly with SYNETIQ’s values of inclusivity and support for its employees. Together, they’ll dive into fundraising and volunteer opportunities to support ANDYSMANCLUB’s impactful work, showing SYNETIQ’s dedication to mental health awareness and care.
Support for the charity is already underway with colleagues showcasing their baking skills in a cake sale, raising a total £400 for the charity.
In addition, SYNETIQ has taken proactive steps to address mental health issues by training 20 colleagues as certified Mental Health First Aiders. These colleagues are equipped to offer support and guidance to colleagues in need.
Tom Rumboll, UK Managing Director for IAA and CEO of SYNETIQ, said: “At SYNETIQ, we really believe in the value mental health awareness and support brings. Our Charity of the Year is chosen by our colleagues, and supporting ANDYSMANCLUB reflects our commitment to creating an open and supportive environment within our business.”
Through its collaboration with ANDYSMANCLUB and the dedication of its Mental Health First Aiders, SYNETIQ aims to promote dialogue, reduce stigma, and provide support for those navigating mental health challenges.
