SYNETIQ, an IAA company (NYSE: IAA), has been awarded the Large Business of the Year accolade at the Doncaster Business Awards.
Founded in 2019 following the merger of four successful businesses in the industry, the business was commended for their focus on sustainable growth and a clear strategy in building the brand. The firm operates from 25 sites across the UK, offering vehicle salvage, dismantling, green parts and mechanical repairs to customers including insurance firms and national vehicle fleets.
“This is a proud moment for the whole team,” said Tom Rumboll, UK Managing Director for IAA and SYNETIQ CEO. “We have built our reputation through our customer-first approach, continued innovation and commitment to doing the right thing; to be recognised for our ongoing success is a huge honour.”
The accolade follows multiple wins in business and industry awards throughout the year, such as CEO Tom Rumboll’s Business Leader of the Year award win at the South Yorkshire Sustainability awards and its receipt of the Sustainability, Green Parts Company of the Year and Larger Vehicle Recycler awards at the Vehicle Recycling Excellence Awards.
Recognising the truly outstanding businesses in the area, the Doncaster Business Awards are the largest of their kind in the region and are hosted by Doncaster Chamber. Celebrating the achievements of companies across 13 different categories, businesses across the region attended the evening ceremony, held at the Doncaster Racecourse on 1 December.
