In response to the surging demand for EVs, we’re adding value to our clients by helping them to accurately price EV policies, provide forward provenance as to where batteries go and what they are reused for, and underpinning it all with a CO2e saving scorecard. We’ve seen a 55% increase in electrified car and van disposal over the past year, and as a dedicated recycler, our role is to ensure their safe and cost-effective disposal, to maximise the financial and environmental returns for each vehicle.
In 2024 we announced a new project with clean tech innovators Allye Energy. We’ll supply EV battery packs to be repurposed and build a Max 320kWh battery energy storage system to promote local grid resiliency while helping individuals and communities access green energy in a sustainable way.
Work with us
We’re working with Altilium to recycle the growing number of EV batteries from cars that have been written off, close the loop on the UK battery supply chain and conserve natural resources. EV batteries from the end-of-life vehicles we receive will be processed at Altilium’s state-of-the-art technology centre in Devon, to recover the valuable raw materials, including lithium and nickel, for direct reuse in the production of new batteries.
